Finances are tough right now for so many individuals who have lost jobs, had their hours cut, or closed their businesses during the shutdown. We can’t imagine the heartache of giving up a beloved companion during this time -- but that is the reality for some of our neighbors who can no longer afford to keep their pets.
As COVID-19 continues to economically impact our community, Friends of Tri-City Animal Shelter is working hard to support families who need assistance feeding their pets, accessing emergency veterinary care, and various other needs.
If you or someone you know has been affected by the pandemic and you are struggling to keep your pet, we want to help. Share your needs with us by using our COVID-19 Request for Assistance button.
If you want to help these pets, and all the dogs and cats already at Tri-City Animal Shelter, you can make a gift right here on our website.
Pets belong with the families who love them. Let’s work together to keep families in our community together and help homeless animals find their fur-ever homes.
